Who We Are
Great Jobs KC was designed to change thousands of individual lives and transform the region by providing access to education and training for our future workforce and contributing to the regional economy. Led by a local Board of Directors and launched in 2016, as KC Scholars, we have served over 8,000 Scholars and changed the lives of thousands in low- and modest-income households in the Kansas City region.

Great Jobs KC provides life-changing financial assistance and support for students and adults to graduate college or complete career training. By investing in our Scholars’ college education or career training and connecting them with regional employers, we can grow the talent pipeline and ensure a strong regional workforce.
TUITION-FREE JOB TRAINING PROGRAM
There are many adults in our community who want to create a better future for themselves and their families, but know that college isn’t for them. Great Jobs KC provides adults with access to tuition-free job training programs in high-paying and high-demand industries such as:
With the support of Great Jobs KC, adults 17+ can develop the skills needed to earn between $45,000-$85,000 annually and begin a fulfilling career in one year or less. This program also provides access to support resources, including childcare and transportation support, to ensure that nothing gets in the way of completing the program and achieving your goals.
